(Translated by Google) One star is still too much. We booked this tour for a day in Belfast because an audio guide is explicitly offered. Since my mother's English skills are not that good, the audio guide was important to us. After we first waited more than 45 minutes at a stop and only buses from the competition came, we just drove it. At Queen's College we wanted to (hopefully) change to the right bus, which we did. However, we had to realize that there is no audio guide. Another passenger, who also expected a guide in his language with headphones, discussed with the driver. But he neither showed understanding nor gave an explanation as to why there is only an English live guide. Sounded like that was the norm. With the live guide, you couldn't understand anything at all thanks to his incredibly strong dialect and the traffic noise, and I'm studying in Ireland (so I actually have very good knowledge of English). I wrote a complaint to the company but nobody answered.. 46€ thrown out the window.

Our bus driver Mike was fantastic! He was so welcoming to all the passengers. His commentary was great and he was even kind enough as to drive us a little further off the route after the last bus of the day!

We booked a 1 day tour and due to past sightseeing tours one day ment 24hr. In this case it ment one day having arrived in Belfast in the afternoon and leaving the next day in the afternoon we decided to join the tour. We were only able to stay on the bus for one ride. This is the second time we did this tour and found it far less informative than last visit.

City Sightseeing Belfast - Provides false information in their brocheure and have no accountability to people who rely on it. We got on the tour at Belfast U, saw half the tour and got off in town. Later, we waited at the City Centre stop from 4:15 - 5:00 for the 4:30 bus as printed (last bus) on their brocheure--No bus!!! We had to pay for a cab back to our lodgings and we missed the other half of the tour. We told the company what happened and asked for a rebate....they said they hadn't had a 4:30 bus since before Covid, but because the fine print says "they have the right to change details of the tour at any time without notice", they would do nothing for us! It's true!! You can ask them about ticket number TFFTZFF9P3 AND SEE WHAT THEY SAY. Use someone else for your tour or use City Sightseeing Belfast at your own risk!!!

Update: the new owner/manager of the branch got back to me and issued a refund. He acknowledged the need for people to be aware of marches or other impediments to the tour and stated this would be made clear to people before boarding/ buying tickets. However, having checked today there is no indication of the mass of marches scheduled for 10 April (found through Google). My brother and I were in Belfast for the day and thought the tour would be the best way to experience and get to see the city. We had limited time and worked out a schedule to see the Titanic museum and complete the tour (a bit over an hour according to the website). The website says that buses pass every hour, and we had planned accordingly. On boarding we were told by ticket staff and the guide on the bus that buses are circulating every half hour. The bus trip to the Titanic museum is less than 15min, and is all we actually got to do of the tour. After waiting for over an hour and 20min, we made our own way back to the the city centre. The staff there informed us that because of a (pre-arranged) march the buses were late and services couldn't be guaranteed. At no point, either on the website, when buying the tickets, when boarding/leaving the bus was this ever communicated to us. We had no idea of the planned marches until we got back into town. I've contacted the company a number of times asking for a refund as we weren't able to do the tour, and weren't informed of any potential delays. I received an initial response of "well contact them to investigate", but receive no acknowledgement of emails now. We essentially paid £34 for a 15min bus trip.

I’ve never been on a hop-on-hop-off bus until today as I have always chosen to wander round myself, but it was recommended that we give it a go as the best way to see the city as a whole. Our guide Rodney and driver John were great (sorry if I have these names completely wrong) - not only was our guide extremely informative but the service I experienced today was efficient, the bus was already waiting at city hall and we didn’t need to wait long at all when catching the bus from one of the stops - so I couldn’t really ask for more. Many thanks to Rodney and John and the city sightseeing team working today!

(Translated by Google) This service is operated by @Belfast tours which does not offer tours in French while City Sightseeing is supposed to offer in 6 languages!!! So we pay for a service that is given to 1 other company that does not offer them!! same services, but the price remains the same and we know that there is no French when getting on the bus!! And the only answer from Belfast tours is: we only do in English!! In this case, do not collaborate.
