The Bel & Dragon is that very rare thing! An exceedingly, outstanding place to stay. One that exceeds every expectation. A fantastic team of attentive, friendly and professional staff wrapped up in a warm cosy and homely package. Our room was just perfect, like a home away from home with that old England country cottage vibe. Topped off with some free gin! Add to that the reading room with some free 10 year old Glenmorange and you cannot go wrong. Indeed I could imagine in the old days sitting there with a Whisky and Cigar. Moving to the food and you simply must try the lamb nuggets! Breakfast was just excellent! I felt bad being a typical Yorkshire Man and asking for a Sausage butty. But crikey! The chef even blew me away with that! Who would have thought you could take a sausage and bread cake to another level! To top everything off the location is fantastic with easy access to many of Surrey's great attractions and tourist spots. We loved this place and we will be back when we next visit from Philippines. Incredible place, excellent value for money and quietly epic! loved it!
