I ignored all other reviews and chose to give it a try. Even though the service was perfect, the food was almost tasteless and so far from fresh that we couldn't even finish the meals. I'm sad to say that unfortunately, this is in my top 3 unsatisfactory restaurant meals of all time.

I am a fussy eater and hate to try anything new. But the Beirut lounge has the most amazing selection of food, and I tried so many new things that I would say there is something there for everyone no matter what your tastes or how fussy you are. The staff were kind, friendly, and cared about the food they served and were happy to explain what each dish was and how best to pair it with other dishes. All food is freshly prepared with fresh ingredients. My next vist can not come soon enough. I recommend the Tabouleh and the Makanek for starters. 5 stars does not do it justice

Exceeded our expectation. Food was fresh, tasty and served with a smile. Reasonable prices for the quality and serving sizes. Had the Baba Ghanoush (lovely smokey flavour), hummous kawarma (topped with lamb and pinenuts). Shawarma and the falafel wraps were very good. Followed by Qatayek and baklava for dessert, and Lebanese coffee. A lovely dinner out while in Bournemouth. Highly recommend.
