I find it hard to get nice items in my size but they had a lot of options and the fitting process was very professional and friendly. My friend and I are final year students specialising in lingerie, we went to Beija hoping to collect some primary research, and ask some questions about the brand. I also wanted to buy a bra as I had seen the brand online and the values aligned with mine. Instead we were immediately met with a very rude welcome as soon as we stepped into the store, “Sorry, what are you doing?” to be precise. - I had taken a picture of a sign on the wall containing information on Beija’s craftsmanship and I liked it. She immediately assumed we weren’t going to buy anything which is unfortunate because a transaction would have been made from me otherwise. There was no apology or light hearted effort to try and reconcile her initial snarky attitude towards us instead she remained quiet just watching us until we left. We have been to Harrods, Harvey Nichols and Selfridges for research too, with no intention of buying from brands there, yet we have received warm welcomes from very helpful and informative staff who haven’t turned their nose up to us just because we’re students. If only Beija London representatives held themselves up to the same standard…
