Used to be my surgery but I changed as even before COVID it was impossible to get an appointment, even just for a sick certificate. Ended up having to go to work and share my chest infection with my colleagues

You let people die. You have no compassion for anything. She had called my wife a couple of days ago and you didn't help her. Thanks for your help. Now I hope that someone in your family will happen something since I am watching you all.

This appalling surgery is not fit for purpose. They spend more time avoiding patients than treating them. The power mad receptionists are rude and deliberately obstructive. You cant get an appointment for weeks, if you need to see a doctor sooner, they wont allow you to make an appointment unless you ring at 8am and only at 8am, otherwise they tell you to go to a walk-in centre. Most of the doctors are part-time and if you do manage to see one, its rushed and they treat you like its an inconvenience. Disgraceful practice with staff unfit to work in the nhs.

Beechwood Surgery is an UTTER DISGRACE. The staff are inherently rude. They are deliberately rude and unhelpful and that's when they can be bothered to answer the phone. It's impossible to see a doctor. All the good ones have left too. But really, it's the staff. The front desk and reception staff are RUDE, unhelpful, uncaring and unsympathetic to anyone's needs. After all, you only ever call the GP when you aren't well so it would be nice if they considered that. The surgery is badly run, and that bad attitude from the top is fed downwards to the utterly appalling staff on the phones and front desk. Shame on you Beechwood Surgery. NO STARS would be appropriate but Google insists you get at least one. Shame on you.

I suffer from psoriasis and have to use Dermovate cream. A recent breakout had me reaching for only to see it was a year out of date. As I had to go to surgery for a shingles jab I asked the receptionist what could be done. I showed her the out of date cream and she wanted to inspect my leg, then told me to ring at 8 o’clock the next day to see if anybody available. How hard is it to get in date cream. You only have to email a doctor and explain the situation. Now have to use year old out of date cream. Ridiculous.Just saw nurse MARY for shingles jab and explained what just happened, she sent a email to a doctor. It is now later in the day and a text arrived on my phone stating the cream is ready for collection at the chemist next door. Thank god for common sense by Nurse Mary.

What is the point paying for the NHS when you can't even get through to your local GP, earlier this morning they actually answered after 20 minutes and as soon as they said hello proceeded to hang up

Absolutely fuming and disgusted with this surgery! For 3 months I’ve had an issue and keep being told fill out a form online fill the form out and no one gets back to you anyway! Sit on the phone for 30 minutes to get through to someone to be told no appointments call tomorrow this surgery is just getting worse and worse you guys seriously need to re think your process! Absolutely outrageous.

Maybe my expectations are lower than other reviewers but in the 2 years I’ve used beechwood I’ve always managed an on the day appointment when it was genuinely needed - especially with my two children (yes, calling at 8am to be triaged is the current system but it does seem to largely work given the number of patients and to be able to assess if there is the absolute need for an on the day appointment) And for myself I’ve successfully used eConsult to get what was needed for minor ailments. I like the fact I’m dealt with efficiently, in and out, can pick up a prescription next door almost always immediately after an appointment and I rate the doctors. I appreciate if you are older or want to see a doctor often & engage with staff then experiences will be different, but for us I have no complaints.
