Rude staff on the phone, zero communication between doctors and results. Zero communication on changing meds without conversation. Then when you ask the receptionist what’s going on there rude and tell you to make an appointment in 5 weeks. Nurse that can’t take blood then tell you to rebook after waiting 6 weeks for that appointment. Putting in an complaint.

I've only visited this medical centre once, but I must say, I was impressed with the level of professionalism shown by the nurses. They were very courteous and took the time to listen to my concerns before proceeding with the necessary treatment. The waiting area was clean and tidy, and the appointment started promptly. Although I can't speak for the overall service, based on my experience, I would definitely recommend this medical centre for anyone seeking medical attention. A few years ago I was moving from Manchester to Halifax and my GP recommended Beechwood Medical Centre. I can honestly say without doubt I personally never ever had any issue with any staff at all they have all been kind and welcoming. I can go around the houses sometimes instead of getting to the point but they take it in their stride. Last year I was diagnosed with head and neck cancer that's when the NHS showed me how wonderful they are one appointment after another I could not have wished for better treatment. Thank you Beechwood.....thank you St. James ....thank you NHS.

Only been with this surgery a couple of months but it is very up and down whilst there is caring doctors I have seen in person and talked to on the phone, sometimes the receptionist tells me to just go to the pharmacy for help instead of speaking to a doctor. Also sometimes you have to wait weeks to see a nurse or doctor.

Long waits to see the doctor. Nurse practitioner is patronising and condescending and so is one of the female Doctors there, who constantly makes me upset whenever she speaks to me on the phone. Doesn’t let me talk and makes me feel insignificant and pathetic.
