If you’re looking to explore the area, look no further than Beechenhill as a base. We stayed for a week, and it felt like 10. Fantastic walks from the door, or a short drive away. Views from all around the farm are stunning, and really set you into the dale. Alex and the rest of the team put on a fantastic experience, with plenty of hidden touches. Handmade cakes, an eco-friendly steer to a traditional walking holiday, and a luxurious hot tub evening if it takes your fancy. I could not recommend Beechenhill more highly.

Beautiful cottages in gorgeous surroundings in the Peak District, between Buxton and Ashbourne. The six person cottage is well appointed for disabled visitors with easy access bathroom and electric bed and armchair. The decor is tasteful and very comfortable. Bread, fresh made onsite, is available each morning. Still warm on delivery and a real treat. And for a proper pamper, the sauna is lovely too. The owner is a delightful person, friendly and helpful, and an accomplished artist. Her onsite gallery is definitely worth seeing.
