Over the years have visited the Titanic and have always had positive experiences which, I have posted about online. However, stayed overnight 20/21st May 2023. Everything great as expected APART FROM the following - On arrival we ordered hot drinks and six portions of toast. Drinks arrived and after having to remind the staff the toast came at least ten minutes later. Needless to say drinks were almost finished. Brought this to the attention of Rebecca the duty manager who agreed with the waitress that this was the process, drinks first toast after. Feel that this is unusual as at other eateries drinks will come with the toast or a very short while later. Rebecca apologised lots of times and offered to take the very lightly toasted chiabattas back. I use the term toasted with apprehension as they were still white in colour. We agreed to one portion being returned. With hindsight we should have sent it all back, but we were hungry and our lunch slot was 2pm. On checking out the following morning noticed we'd been charged for six portions of toast so informed the receptionist of what had happened and she brought Rebecca across. We then paid for five portions of toast. I feel good customer service would have been to give us a discount at this point, on that part of the bill. When I questioned this I was informed that we wouldn't need to pay for the portion of toast we returned - this had been at Rebecca's suggestion! Tried to discuss this further but there seemed to be a lack of understanding, or a resistance to accept our view or an absence of courtesy. With hindsight I feel it was a combination of all. So, we paid. In addition, the receptionist tried to charge us for four desserts that were included in the dinner - fortunately we spotted this. I am writing this comment after great consideration but, poor customer service needs to be addressed and this wasn't. There were opportunities for a much more amicable resolution but unfortunately in my opinion, this didn't occur on this occasion. I would describe the response as passive and ineffective. On my next visit I'll be sure to ask for the hot drinks and toast to be delivered together.

We had a spa day and overnight stay. Spa was fantastic. Great facilities, lovely treatment (we all had a 25min body scrub) and the food was excellent. The staff were very helpful, especially in the restaurant and dealing with our dietary requirements. The only downside was the accommodation. The apartments are ok, but they are a little tired, very warm and the continental breakfast provided in the room was disappointing. Although saying that we will be returning. I might just book a soa day though in the future.

Stayed here overnight as a package on a Sunday. We have been here before during the week. The roads one way can be a bit dicey down to the Spa. The apartment was ok. However. The floorboards were horrendously noisy. Bit dusty on some surfaces. The kitchen needed some repairs fixing. Shower screen rubber was yucky. Continental breakfast in the room. The Spa can get busy especially the Foot Spa, could do with more. Rest of the Spa is lovely, particularly the 55 mins facial. Food is excellent only criticism vegetables are extra at a cost of £3 for a bowl of broccoli 🥦. Service is quick, aloud 1.5 hours for evening meal. There is a bar £10.00 for a large GnT, or Cocktail. Service was by two lovely chatty males. All in all worth a visit I'd recommend weekday.

Go somewhere else! I was bought vouchers for my 40th birthday for this place and was highly recommended by some friends. Upon checkin it was like a cattle market of groups of women speaking very loud trying to check in. The fire and ice experience was ok, however didn't find this relaxing as again loads of women talking very loud and constant even though there were signs around stating it's was a quiet zone. Lunch was nice. In the afternoon I had a titanic spa massage which I did not really enjoy, it was like being stroked by the person dealing with me, she seemed very inexperienced even though paying top dollar for the treatment. The room we had was in serious need of renovation/restoration, mold in the bathroom on the walls and ceiling, chips off furniture, looked like no repairs had taken place in years. Biggest frustration is that there was no wifi in the bedrooms and I couldn't get signal on my phone....take something with you to play or read as the TV channels were terrible. For the amount of money we spent it was a terrible experience and it was the first time leaving a spa feeling more stressed than when I entered. There are way better places to go for similar or less money. My booking was on the 19th May if the management team want to respond 😤. Waste of money and time
