Beckview Studios offers high-end, professional equipment and expertise for any musicians who are wanting to elevate their music to the next level. I particularly love the mixing desk: a classic Sony MCI from 1984. It's a wonderful analogue addition to the proceedings regardless of whether you intend to record to reel to reel or straight to digital. Chris is an experienced sound engineer who gives good advice to his clients. I found that he was very efficient and I could work well with him during recording sessions. My project was ambitious (recording session musicians and my vocals for an entire album) but we managed to achieve everything that we had set out to do and more in the time we had. I am very grateful for Chris and the brilliant musicians that he recommended for the sessions. I therefore highly recommend any musicians to Beckview Studios when they are considering recording spaces. I look forward to using their services again in the future.

I came over from Australia, met my compatriot from Hull and spent a week in the studio with Chris, tracking vocals for an album we are doing. Great experience in a truly great setting. Spacious studio with wide selection of gear and an ease of working that gets the best out of everyone. A real find! Highly recommend it for all aspects including value for money. Ian

Amazing experience recording with Chris at Beckview. The whole day ran very smoothly, he was fully set up before we arrived, all the equipment was spot on and he catered to everything we wanted/needed to get the absolute best performance possible. He even came down to a gig of ours a couple of weeks before the session as we were after a live performance style video and therefore wanted to see us in action so that he knew exactly what he was going for. Overall couldnt be happier with his work and the end product. Filmed the whole day and provided us with some great live performance tracks/videos. Would absolutely recommend this place! Best studio and customer service i've experienced. 10/10.

Beckview Studios is a wonderful little place to record, it's welcoming and cosy with everything you could need, even an old tape machine which I recorded to most recently. Chris is lovely and very helpful everytime in helping create what im envisioning and is just generally wonderful to work with. All that and the cats that come hang out in the studio sometimes are little sweethearts what more could you want really other than giving cute cats head rubs and a great studio to record in :)
