0 if there was an option. A relative is currently in here, the treatment that they have had is diabolical. They have been assaulted with unnecessary force, with photo evidence, verbally abused and not even been given current and daily medication but sedated with needles while family members can hear everything on the phone. Staff promise phone calls to discuss complaints with relatives and the phone calls never come. There are some nice members of staff, but the bad ones outweigh them unfortunately. Prisoners are treated with more dignity. Formal complains with be following this review. CQC need to investigate the wrong doings. You are supposed to be saving lives not making them worse. Appalling!

If I could award zero stars, I would. My daughter (who is not identifiable from my name) has been given access to inappropriate visitors, and been out on so called ‘leave’ with them, with the result that her safety and mental health are compromised. She has not received any significant therapy, but has started to show an interest in drugs, mainly ‘weed’. The weekend staff seem to be mostly agency, and do not seem to know her. The ward manager has allowed the inappropriate guest situation to progress, despite the fact that my daughter is sectioned, has an ASD, seriously self harms, and is far from settled. One ward assistant seems to have lost a sense of professional relationships and boundaries, being only a year older than my daughter who is barely legally an adult, and the ward has failed to meet its undertaking to communicate with us regularly and transparently. An enquiry is needed.

I worked as a domestic assistant on all the wards and the lack of care and the things I seen was beyond words the place needs urgently looking into. Night time staff are just agency workers no real training or care. They stand around in groups speaking another language or sit on their phones. Elderly ladies left wondering around naked from the waste down covered in urine staff literally ignore them. Male wards just full of alcohol and cannabis and the moment anyone dares to question the lack of care it’s all hush hush and suddenly loose your job for standing up and reporting things. Honestly I wish I could have recorded the things I know and seen I feel for anyone going into this place i really do 😢

If I could give this place no stars I would. Mental health service is a joke, don’t answer the phone, let patients out that have being sectioned when there not ready to be and expect family and friends to just get on with it with no help or support!!! Big fat joke

Offered whizz ( speed , amphetamines ) the first time I went for a smoke. 2 blokes were doing it pretty often, it was pretty obvious, and 1 of them had some weird psychological / voodoo type hold over the other, and it was clearly doing him no good. Apparently, I 'lack insight' , yet this was clear as day to me, but the staff made the pretence of being oblivious to it. Snide £uckers, not a nice place
