James has been a fantastic cat sitter to my one year old cat on three occasions when I was away over 2 weeks and a long weekend. Communication was excellent, with written updates about my cat and with pictures. He took time before to get to know my cat, during the introduction period, which helped my cat as coming out of lockdown he didn’t see many new people around him and he appeared a little anxious in the beginning. James was reliable, patient, caring and played with him during the two slots a day, which my cat very much enjoyed. As I returned from my holidays my cat was always happy, healthy, energetic and he was looking forward to more play time, so I tried to keep up since! I will definitely be asking James to cat sit again.

James was an amazing cat and lizard sitter! We were going on holiday for a week and needed a cat sitter at short notice and Beckenham Cat Sitters far exceeded my expectations of care and love for my pets. He came in twice a day and as well as feeding and cleaning out the litter tray, he played for half an hour with our cat. He also took on feeding and looking after our gargoyle gecko, misting the tank and checking the temperature. He watered the plants which we were very anxious about so that they didn’t dry up and die while we were away. Every day James sent a detailed update telling us how the pets were doing and how each visit went. We came back to happy healthy pets and plants and Beckenham Cat sitters were responsive, professional and friendly the whole time. I very much recommend them!
