This was our first stay at Beck Hall and we are so glad we found it. The location is perfect for exploring the village and surrounding countryside. Malham Cove was just amazing and the views all around could not be beaten. We were made to feel extremely welcome and for the first time have found a hotel where you can truly relax with your dog who is treated as part of the family instead of a bit of an inconvenience. The food was beautifully presented, very well cooked and tasty, the chef did a very good job in accommodating any special requirements, the service was quick and efficient and the staff were always polite and helpful and couldn’t be more accommodating with our dog who was very spoilt! We would certainly recommend this hotel to people who love walking with their pet and enjoying talking to like minded people in the wonderful gardens. A big thank you to all the staff and we have already booked our next visit.

Loved this kooky place. Food fantastic, staff excellent, great accommodation - all I would mention is that if you want to get an early night, you should stay outside of the main house - or at least not directly above the snug (the green room).

My wife and I visited the "Secret Garden" restaurant at Beck Hall on the way home from a weekend climbing the Yorkshire Peaks with our two German Shepherd dogs. We booked in advance for an afternoon tea and the staff were very accommodating when we rang to let them know we were going to be late due to traffic. The restaurant was beautiful and situated right beside the river. The afternoon tea was amazing and had a delicious selection of sandwiches and cakes. The restaurant was exceptionally dog friendly, with dogs being provided with mats to lie on, alongside plenty of treats and cuddles from staff. If our two had not been so filthy from their mountain adventures we would have certainly brought them in too! This is an absolute hidden gem and definitely worth a visit! :)
