A hidden Gem, a working farm run by the most caring people in such a positive way. They do free days for people with dementia we took our late dad. The farm is lovely and we were free to roam around, they breed goats and name them, there was a huge bull, cows and chickens. We were all taken to a room where we were given coffee and biscuits, dad planted some flowers, we made bread and had a beautiful homemade soup and roll made by a lovely lady called Mary. My dad didn't join in much it just wasn't for him and Mary totally understood but as a family we really enjoyed the day and were so touched with the thought and care that is taken with the activities, food and animal care. I can't thank them enough for what they do and if you have a family member with dementia it's a really lovely experience.
