On the phone they demand you input a repeat prescription request by email. Then when I collect it half my medication is missing. I have to call them to get it fixed. Then go back to the pharmacy. I never get an explanation why it is like this. This has happened intermitently for 2 years but it has been every prescription for 8 months in a row now. Just honestly, I don't understand why there are 4 significantly better doctors surgeries closer to my post-code than this one, but I have to use this one because of "catchment" issues.

Pain just to talk to a doctor, that much would've been forgivable, but it doesn't stop there. I was experiencing chronic fatigue, sleeping most of the day and unable to focus the rest of the day. After a lot of appointments, back and forths, and 'wait and sees' - I eventually get a blood test. Later had to call back for extremely imprecise blood test results. Then had to call to arrange another appointment. At this appointment, they claimed I had no physical signs of fatigue and that I should seek mental help if symptoms persist for another month (at which point I would be on a waiting list for who knows how long for a treatment I wouldn't have required). It took a couple of months just to get this far, and the whole time I'm unable to get anything done at work (or out of work really). So I go to a private doctor, since I'm pretty sick and tired of being sick and tired. They bring up the original blood test results. It was vitamin D deficiency the whole time. A few days on vit d supplements and I'm back to normal, and have continued to be unfatigued for a month now. Do not.

The Surgery says to call exactly at 8 to book an appointment, how is that for everyone calling at 8 and trying to get an appointment? Do they employ fifty people to answer the phone at 8 am? No surprises when you call at 8 am, you are on a queue above thirty on the call!! I am not sure what form of logic this operation is based on. Moreover, it has been cases before that I have called and in position one in the queue has waited nearly one hour.

Honestly it just gets worse and worse. Spend hours in their queue system whenever you want an appointment After finally getting through and arranging for a prescription to be sent to Tesco pharmacy for collection the next day, it hasn’t even been put through Call back reception and they say “sorry you need to see a gp” No attempt to contact me and let me know. Not my job mate Gone so far downhill

From the receptionists to the GPS and nurses great great experiences everytime! Being able to call and request a call back so I can get on with my work knowing I'll get a call when they are available is brilliant! When I moved to Chelmsford i was mentally very poorly if it wasn't for the amazing Dr I saw I wouldn't be here. And every health issue I have had since had been dealt with with the best care and haste. Asking for repeat prescriptions by email is so handy too! The amazing nurses who give me my injections every few months are so friendly and helpful! The receptionists are very friendly and always welcoming I hope I never have to change drs!

Even if you call at 8am for an appointment you've been told by them to make, the chances of getting an appointment are extremely low. I waited almost 90 minutes on hold for someone to answer, only to be told all appointments were filled. You have to select an option when you start the call which indicates you'd like to book an appointment. Why does a message play when they are all filled? If you are lucky enough to book an appointment, later they also claim in notes that they have contacted you with test results when they haven't and fail to record notes from telephone appointments that did take place. Some of the people that answer the phone are also extremely rude and abrupt and shouldn't be allowed to speak to patients who may be extremely worried about their own or a loved one's medical condition. The website claims they are caring and compassionate...I haven't seen any evidence of that for at least 5 years. I'm just glad my parents are registered elsewhere. I would advise anyone with actual need for serious care to do the same. Change the telephone system to stop people wasting their time. E.g. if Monday is emergencies only, say that at the start of the recorded response.

I have to say only one thing if you care about your health just don't come to this practice, starting from the incompetence receptionists wich now they consider which pacient needs an appointment and which need to suffer weeks because the'receptionist' consider that is not a good reason to have a appointment to speak to a DOCTOR or is not a life treating case (again the receptionists believe that their surgery is A&E) to Dr.that google diagnosis!
