I was just browsing what music shops are still available and it put a smile on my face when I saw this gem of a place is still trading. I used to live in Bradford and you could Always rely on the proprietor to give you the best of advice. Even if he didn't make a cent from it he would help you the best he could. Very knowledgeable about crafted instruments and always busy working on an instrument or other when you walked in. Bradford has lost like many city's Craftsmen like him so they should be glad he's still around. Check the shop out and keep guys like this still trading. If I remember he was in a band called Cajun aces. I once saw them playing on morcambe prom in August bank holiday 1997..can play too. The title of the shop above is wrong. I'm talking about Manning's in Bradford. I hate when Google maps does this it's really bad.

Its great to see a music store still surviving in these tough times, This will be down to the great salesman ship of Steve G, Our paths have crossed over the years and from knowing Steve at the Northern Drum Centre in Leeds back in the nineties, On the odd occasion that I get to see him he is always very friendly and up to date with his knowlage of equipment. (Drums that is) he is always ready to do a deal, Drop in and say hello he may surprise you with one of his jokes. Keep up the good work Steve. your doing a great job.

All the staff are really friendly and helpful and give great advice on all aspects of music and instruments. They also have a great range of instruments and equipment. If they have no stock of a particular item, they have a really fast turn around for getting what you require in. The in-house tutoring is also excellent. Would highly recommend to anyone.

I dont know what local bands would do without the advice and support of Steve Gibson at Beat It Music. My band(s) have been helped by Steve for over 20 years and he is still going strong when all the other music shops are closing. If you use him you will see why. This Mat from ACDC tribute band Highway to Hull.
