Have to agree with other reviews: this is a definite must if you're in the area. I've done three seal trips now, but this was the first with Beans. We had the lovely John and Norman expertly guiding us through this adventure, plus a glorious sunny day, and although we were warned that we might not see many seals, if any, we did and it was marvellous! But it wouldn't have mattered if we hadn't - John kept us so well entertained with his running commentary of local knowledge and also the latest gossip (who IS the new celebrity owner of the nearby house that sold for nearly £7bn? And why didn't Keir Starmer crack a smile during his recent trip? And how many more ex-lifeboats does their friend have room for?) it would still have been a thoroughly enjoyable trip without any seals! Unless you suffer with sea-sickness - or even if you do! - take a trip around the point and know that you're in most experienced hands. Thanks for a great afternoon, gentlemen! See you again soon! 😃

Booked last minute on a Sunday morning, no issues. Organised. Friendly. Large, safe boats, plenty of room. Not many seals but a lovely boat ride out. Very knowledgeable about the birds, seals, history of the area. Take an extra layer for warmth. Parking on the harbour via National Trust. Perfect hour spent on the water. Thank you.

This was quite an adventure! Came with a tour group for a pre-booked seal trip from Morston. There's a car park close to the landing stages and some toilets. Very busy, but we did not have to wait long as boats of all sizes were arriving all the time. Ours was a fairly large open boat, with seating along both sides. Climbing on board from a small wooden jetty was a bit tricky for some of us, but the crew were more than happy to help. Both the skipper and his mate were friendly and had a terrific sense of humour, providing us not only with an interesting commentary about this stretch of coast and its wildlife but also keeping us entertained with jokes and funny stories. The cruise began sedately, chugging along the creek between salt marsh and floodplain, but when we rounded the spit into the open sea, it became very choppy and windy, and the boat rocked so much from side to side that I really believed it was going to capsize! But we were in safe and experienced hands, and the crew provided us with towels to sit on to prevent us getting too wet. Disappointingly we did not see many seals, only a few basking on the sand, and we were unable to get very close to them. We did see a few terns and oystercatchers though. Some interesting little boats in the harbour too. The trip lasted about an hour, and overall it was a great experience!

I called to book the ticket pretty last minute and they are almost sold out as it was May half-term so except it will be busy even though it wasn't a sunny day that day. The sea water was calm when in the beginning. However, when we are more than half way to the destination of the seals it gets pretty choppy. Myself I did feel a little sick but I still enjoy watching those seals. Overall it was a great experience. There is a small cafe, toilet and car park there as well.

Took £20 off each person on 3 boat’s full of people only to then say whilst we’re all on board about 2 minutes in that there are barely any seals around at this time. I fully understand this is not their fault, but they could’ve told us before and given us the choice as to wether we would want to risk it or not. £120 down and saw one seal very far away, felt a bit sneaky from the company to be honest. With 3 boats going out twice just in that evening this company would’ve made £3k because they didn’t inform anyone. Norman and John were amazing and this wasn’t their fault, they were just doing their jobs so I would give them 5* on their hosting, but not the company for taking advantage of tourists.

My husband, our children (5 and 7) and I went on a seal trip a few days ago and we all thoroughly enjoyed it! Due to the time of the year there were no seal pups, but did see several seals which was fun. In terms of Beans, I cannot fault them. From being checked in, to leaving the boat, the journey was brilliant, made better by local knowledge and cheesy but excellent seal jokes. Highly recommended and we will be back later in the year with a hope to see some pups.

Always a great trip out with Beans to the seals. Had a great couple of guys on this trip with lots of knowledge on the local area and the seals. Usually ring to book on the day and pay cash on arrival. There is a cashpoint in the Spar at Blakeney itself.
