Lovely little train station that is the gateway to the area. Very Fast and slow, slow trains to London so if you are heading straight into town, the non-stop quick one is a winner. Beautiful countryside so close to Central London, idyllic place to reside and commute into Marylebone.

After being told my ticket would be valid at Marleybone because of strikes, the barrier wouldn’t open, the clerk was quite abrupt and I just got “they were wrong” as the response to everything, trying to get to Amersham in the rain after paying for train twice and trying to get a taxi.
