Some of the best views of the county, especially in the Loughborough direction. Oldest rocks in the world. Rare breed livestock. 3 play areas. Wild flower meadows, wonderful old tree woodlands and beatiful heathland. Great little cafe. It's also the start of the National Forest Way in case you want a new challenge or a longer walk. Broombriggs Farm Trail and Windmill Hill are also next door, making the whole area well worth a visit!!! Playground: 2 main play areas one at the upper car park and one by the lower next to the cafe Restrooms: Toilets at both car parks and at the cafe at the lower Dog-friendliness: Most of the site is dog friendly. And most dog owners are responsible especially around the livestock. Well behaved dogs are allowed to go in most places. Some sensible restrictions relating to wildlife conservation and children's play. Picnic area: Lots of tables around the cafe area and a smaller picnic area next to the Upper car park

One of the best parks in Leicester. Great views, very peaceful and a few nice footpaths to take around the park. It's very similar to Bradgate park in my opinion, which is also very close to this park, you can see it from top of the hill Playground: There's a children's playground by the cafe Restrooms: There are restrooms in the cafe Dog-friendliness: Dogs are welcome in this park Picnic area: There are some picnic spots at the bottom of Beacon Hill
