My review was 5 star but the last few months the food quality has declined, chips are often undercooked and greasy. Battered food is soft sloppy batter not crunchy. the portions have shrunken a lot A large bag now is what a small used to be. Time for a new chip shop

Horrible chips (mush) no texture, luck warm mush. Noticeable smaller portions at a ridiculous price. Chicken wasn't that great either. Served in a tiny white Box, tasted horrible, straight in my bin. Using this chip shop for years, NEVER again. The new owners must do a lot better if possible, can't see it. Notified after you have ordered & food is rapped. That the minimum spend paying by card is £5.00. Fair enough, but mention this before, or put a sign up. It feels like your tricked into spending more than you intended to. Pricey nasty food....🤢

So impressed with this place - my new go to chippy! Moved to the area 3 years ago and had been using another local chippy. It wasn't great. Everything here was fresh - chicken, chips, donner meat, and the double cheeseburger, wow! Bays have a new customer in me! 🍟
