I could not wait to visit this place as its October time and I have heard a lot of positive comments about german food. And the food there was actually very nice, even worth about 4 stars when compared with other pub food. One star was deducted for toilet refresher that was present in the whole restaurant. Second star was removed for the luck of presence of staff.. 1 waitress on Sunday:( And finally, 2 stars remaining because the choice of great german beer was reduced to 1 and 1/2. Krombacher Pils (quite nice) and ...Krombacher Dunkel. It could have been much much better. But I guess bad management has cause closing down their branch in London Old Street. So harry up if you want to try that fresh beer and their unique dishes! Update: this place is now permanently closed.

The service and the German owner very friendly.

A great laugh for a packed Oktoberfest event. Otherwise a little tired and rough around the edges

I have found that this Bavarian pub was closed since 22 October 2018 permanently due to business reasons such as the increase of the rent, etc. Very sad.
