    As a frequent shopper my last visit was disappointing. Being followed around by a security guard as my 3 black friends & I walked around even though one of us is a resident. Extremely frustrating. Updated 2 weeks later 17/6 Had another unbelievable experience with the same security guard Anky once again. Please find security guards who don’t racially profile. Stayed quiet when I confronted him regarding the targeting. Almost tripped as he was chasing me down the isle as if I was grabbed something and was going to run off. Will go directly to a manager on Monday as this issue has been going on for too long.

    As an employee of the power station, I frequently visit a local grocery store during my breaks to purchase food. However, it has come to my attention that I have been subject to continuous surveillance and monitoring by an individual, whom I believe to be a security guard at the store. As a person of African descent, I find this situation to be not only highly unreasonable but also deeply unsettling. Moreover, I recently accompanied my own mother to this establishment to showcase the vibrant neighborhood of Battersea, only to experience the same disconcerting behavior from the aforementioned security guard, who persistently trailed us throughout the store. I must express my profound disappointment with the level of service exhibited by this store. Such unwarranted scrutiny based on racial profiling is unacceptable and goes against the principles of fairness, equality, and respect. I intend to take appropriate action by reporting this matter to the relevant authorities. It is my firm belief that incidents of this nature should be addressed promptly and measures should be implemented to ensure that such discriminatory practices are eradicated.

    Great places with a lot of different products for other countries. Organic items are also here at a decent price. Some of the prices are a little more inflated that others, but overall this was one of my more favoured shops of the area! Please do make sure you have a look at all the other reviews as they've encountered things I haven't and its always good to know.

    If you want Sainsbury’s products at Harrods prices and to be utterly humiliated by staff, come to this store! Please fire the old lady working the deli counter at 1pm on Saturday 3 June 2023 for she does not know how to behave. Angry look on her face before I even approached the counter. The fresh orange juice machine near the deli counter makes juice go all over the bottle. Whilst my partner was wiping the bottle of orange juice at the end, the lady behind the deli counter aggressively accused us of overfilling the bottle that was already closed with a lid on! After I paid for my partner’s bottle of orange juice, the deli lady started asking my partner to pay for the orange juice that I already paid for, because in her limited mind one can’t pay for a drink for their partner. She became quite aggressive about the whole situation and asked me to go get the orange juice that I paid for, whilst I kept pointing at the bottle in my partner’s hand that I already paid for. Crazy people working in this store, stay away!
