The water is either boiling hot or freezing cold The receptionist is horrid- she is either really lovely or out to ruin ur day. Babe go to spoons and have a pint They turn the hot water off at around 10pm everyday? I didn’t know this was allowed… Also heating? Non existent… The wifi is awful, some rooms come with Ethernet cables and some do not The rooms are all different sizes apart from the room 5 which they pay extra for yet we all pay the same amount??? Prison shower to the max When I came the water smelt rotten and the shower door was broken as well as this the toilet flush is constantly packing up. I would not recommend this student accommodation to my worst enemy… I was told it was meant to be closed to be destroyed this year but they accepted too many people through clearing. I was one of them so now I’m stuck in my freezing cold prison cell…. Just to add to it the cleaners wake you up every morning if you’re in e block facing the car park don’t get me started on that drug filled car park hate hate hate Also the cleaners left a mouldy bucket in my room which caused me to be sick everywhere when we asked reception to get it moved several times we had to take it into our own hands because nobody was listening Don’t come to bateson… or Harry law if u want the same reception team :) Also to add on my room is mouldy and staff were rude when I bought it up

Honest review from a ex batesonite , if it weren't for the people there would be no reason to stay , wifi has been down for 6 months with no partial refund or with them taking any responsibility, the rooms are small and grimy with little airflow, and the water has to temperatures freezing cold or scalding. But by far the creme de la creme of the problems with bateson , is the manager Mary. She is the most vile person I have ever interacted with , she doesn't seem to care about anything ( she makes it very apparent that she hates working here ) and treats everyone ( even the other receptionists) like they are beneath her. She takes her job way too seriously in the worst way possible , acting more like a crazed dictator , than an halls receptionist . This is not a rant from an annoyed Tennant it's just an warning of what to expect if you decide to stay here , Moreover I won't be surprised if this gets taken down as they seem to control what appears here better that the PRC
