Having had a bad experience with our previous architect we found Bastion to be excellent in every way - our design was amazing, nothing was too much trouble for them and they were good value. After being recommended to use Bastion I can confirm I was not disappointed. Pleasure to deal with. They answer their phones more often than not. If they have missed a call they return it. The quality of work is very good and the speed at which amendments are dealt with and returned is ideal when you are trying to meet deadlines. I would use Bastion services again.

I see drawings from a wide range of architects as part of my work as a Structural Engineer. The drawings from Bastion are amongst the very best quality. The structure is considered carefully. Beams are generally hidden within floor zones and the standard of the designs is always high. I have no hesitation in recommending Bastion to clients.

We selected Bastion based upon other reviews, initially for an online consultation as we weren't sure whether we wanted to extend or move house. We had a list of requirements, but had not thought of a solution to achieve these (and frankly weren't sure that we'd be able to meet these given the layout of our house). Within a couple of hours, Keith had come up with a solution which blew us away, meeting all of our requirements. We then proceeded to use them for the full detailed technical design, as well as obtaining planning permission. From day one, the service from both Keith and Russell has been outstanding. They have fully considered and responded to all our concerns, and guided us through the process in an extremely professional and responsive manner. It is also worth noting that the design and consultations were carried out over video calls (due to the pandemic), and only the surveyor and structural engineer have visited our property. This approach has worked extremely well and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this approach to others. Very highly recommended.

These guys did an awesome job. They handled both the initial architectural design and then the later technical drawings for building control. As well as coordinating with all other contractors re. energy calc's, structural eng. etc. Really attentive and responsive to our evolving needs over multiple iterations.
