    Sadly, we entered into a lease for my 18yo daughter - she’s 1 of 4 renting a newly refurbished flat. Except it’s not rentable! My daughter has lectures from Monday and is currently homeless. Bastión say there’s been an issue getting council approval yet the lease had an entry date of 24/8/22. And I paid the 1st month rent and deposit in July. The current situation is that we can: a) walk away and find another accommodation (there’s nothing available at the university and nothing suitable available elsewhere, with many leases specifically excluding students) b) wait (til whenever as there’s nothing concrete in terms of IF or WHEN the accommodation will be available) Where is the duty of care?

    Bastion offer a fantastic service for tenants. I rented from them for 8 years and they were nothing but professional the entire time. If there were any repairs that were needing done they were carried out quickly and without any hassle. I've rented for a while now from various different agents and Bastion is hands down the best letting agent I've ever dealt with. I can't recommend them enough if you're looking to rent or sell in Stirling.
