Never felt so awkward in a music shop, made to feel like I was wasting their time, not the most helpful. If I were you I'd just go to PMT unless you like the more boutique bass guitars and elitist staff members. Bit surprised to hear them slagging off old customers too, not very professional. It should be a music shops responsibility to provide information and encouragement to all levels of musicians, otherwise no one would ever pick up an instrument in the first place. I would rather my money went somewhere where they care about the musicians rather than purely profit. Nice basses though and a good selection of gear.
