Such a lovely place to take children. Lots of room and there is often drawing and Lego to keep them entertained. There is also a toilet, which is handy when you have little ones. The rhyme times and story times are also worth a visit.

Also known as the Discovery centre , this is a very good library which is located right in the heart of the festival place of Basingstoke , it feels very nice to be here and read books , you can even take close to 30 books home for 3 weeks for free , this place is useful and can be accessible for both kids and for adults it's very Quite and big place ,so for those who want to read books here can do it as there are ample space for sitting and chilling out with the books 😊

The Discovery center is exactly what it says on the tin. An ideal location for encouraging younger people to become comfortable in an environment the may well come to rely on as their studies progress. I vividly remember how it used to be a dull drab place before the rebranding and now the bright cheerfulness helps make the environment a comfortable learning environment for all providing everything from early learning to tables for those who need to study as well as a range of other services. The staff are all friendly and have been supportive of the externally organised events.

Sorry excuse of a place. How about not naming it as a library but a childrens play ground. The brilliant designer thought it would a good idea to have the childrens play ground with the study space. And its a problem Throughout UK , small cramped up libraries with no concept of privacy, space , or self study areas. I have seen libraries in other countries including USA and they are a world apart.
