Just outside of Basingstoke, fairly priced, clean rooms, good breakfast, extraordinary friendly staff, especially Roy at the breakfast service is a doll! I'm not sure if room acess to the free WiFi needs to cost Β£7 in 2023 but as I didn't need it, I won't complain. Rooms : 5/5 | Service : 5/5 | Location : 5/5 β¦ More

Place needs a little TLC regarding the decore. We had a budget room, but could not fault it. The food was excellent and very reasonably priced, as was the bar, although the range of drinks on offer was limited. We will be using this place again in the future. Thanks to the friendly and helpful team for a nice stay. Food & drinks: The food was excellent and very reasonably priced, We had a great breakfast for only Β£10.00 each, but it was our evening meal that surpassed expectations, great Pie's, served with chips and gravy. I struggled to eat all of mine, but there was no way I was leaving anything.πππ

Honestly I am surprised by so many negative reviews. I got early to the hotel before check in time at 4pm. While I was drinking coffee the room got ready within 15 mins. The hospitality of the personal was great, especially from Kate in the restaurant. Her service was outstanding. Itβs been a while since Iβve felt so welcomed into a place. Thank you Kate!

Could be a nice hotel and is obviously having some refurbishment. More attention needed I.e that bedding actually fits the beds (sheets didn't fit and a quilt under the base sheet, the quiltonly just fit the bed side to side so wrong size quilt on double bed) and more than 1 bottle of water and 1 small pack of biscuits in a room booked for 2 people and no decaff tea provided Rooms: Once we changed to the third room it was OK. First one curtains were hanging off and 2nd one tv didn't work started to feel like goldilocks as we moved to the 3rd room!!!
