Been to A&E three times so far this year. The whole process of going through triage, getting blood tests and seeing a doctor is very slow. Each visit has taken between 5-7 hours. However, the doctors and nurses have been fantastic each time I have visited. They have been understanding, helpful and shown real empathy each time despite being very very busy.

Absolute joke. Made to wait 8 hours in total for my son to receive no help. So sick and tired of coming to this place.

The staff at A&E do have a lot of patients to see in a short period of time, I've seen how dedicated they are and couldn't thank them enough for looking after me. A special thank you to the nurse Nadine from AMU Osler ward for being so kind and supportive. I am very grateful to the whole team from Basildon hospital.

Frequent flyer back again , surprisingly busy , long Queues in ambiance last night , when I arrived there were 13 in corridors and ambulances and 6 night teams were just sitting waiting to hand people over . Frightening times for the nhs with under capacity and under funding real shame it was the jewel in our crown in the U.K.
