A BIG thanks Vanessa and Becky for being the first to reply out of 5 surveyors I contacted for a valuation. Vanessa provided us with a very competitive quote and managed to schedule the valuation to be carried out faster than everyone else within 1 week from instruction. Peter arrived at our home to carry out the valuation wearing a face covering, gloves and took his shoes off at the front door without even asking or hesitation. He was extremely friendly and efficient. The entire process was extremely fast with no chasing involved and they kept us up to date with everything as it happened. As if all those positives could not be exceeded, the valuation outcome was more than we hoped. This most certainly won't be the last we use Bartley West for future valuation services. Thanks again :)

Unfortunately the valuation provided by this company is below the market standard. Assessor did not know the area at all, compared my period build property with a private garden (a semi detached maisonette) to a council build flat. Brand new top shelf Ikea bathroom was rated as satisfactory. Also their valuation came at identical value as I received 4 years ago when I remortgage my property, is it possible that value didn't change at all is London, Westminster over 4 years? I had to purchase another surveyor for a valuation as it was obvious that this assessment was not correct. Unsurprisingly a different chartered surveyor valued my property at £42K more. I wasted £220 on Bartley West. Really disappointing.
