Wow, wasn't expecting that. What an amazing book shop. A brilliant use of the old railway station. Enter the door to rows of paperbacks, if you think that's it then wrong! Through the next doorway anfmd you are in one of the most amazing spaces, row and row of bookcases full used books. There is even a model railway above the bookcases by the tills. Great choice of music playing in the background. Cafe in the old waiting room and a 2nd cafe/ice cream bar as well. Will definitely visit again.

Barter Books is a good place if you want to buy or even sell books and get some good money for them. The downside to selling books here is that they only pay you for them in store credit which means you can only buy books and other entertainment goods with the books you bring in. The range of children’s books could be wider and the main area could be a bit bigger. The cafe was nice and supplied me with some good food and drink. 6/10. Not sure about it yet.
