Discharged from hospital after amputation. Two members of staff came out to my home Andy and Kayla looked around the house. Gave me a number to call if I need advice, help and equipment. Called the number a couple of days after they come out and already they have discharged me from their services saying I need no further imput it's only been just over a week since having amputation so what I do now if I need any help or input I don't know. Very poor service no wonder there is so much neglect and poor care from these people.

I let them come into my home to dress my mother's ulcers on her leg. Every time i left the room It went quiet. So I stood in the bedroom to listen to what i could hear was whispering. They were saying to my mother who has parkinsons and dementia "Does he ever hit you" "we have a lovely place for you. Finish off with a big hug. " I promptly banned them from coming round. Three days later I get arrested for care neglect as they reported me. Fast forward 6 months charges dropped back home with mum who whilst in hospital lost the ability to walk and fell over and has a permanent clenched fist which causes her so many problems with hygiene. These nurse aren't fit for practice they basically used there position to take out a childish personal vendetta against me. I will say alot of the care industry needs a shake up. Any care neglect happened whilst mum was in there hands.

Had a disgusting conversation with a woman this evening who refused to listen to what my needs were and in front of a friend (yes there was a witness to how you tried to intimidate me on the phone) patronised and was generally rude and dismissive towards me saying because SHE had had to look after herself after HER operation that therefore I do. I’ve never been so insulted and regardless of the shortage of care workers I do not think this kind of person should be working with people when they are at their most vulnerable. Apparently I can wash my feet in water (not use soap) and put trousers on the floor and put them on with a helping hand. (I’m not allowed to bend) How does she suggest I wipe my bottom then? With a towel on the wall? I’m appalled that people like this are working on behalf of the nhs and as I say there was a witness to this conversation to which I put an end as she refused to listen to what I had to say and instead put me down at every opportunity.

They came for my sons 6-8 week check up and was more focused on my 2.5 year old. Didn't even chuck up on me either. Not happy.

My husband with end-stage COPD, at home, was referred to the palliative care team and is on a 'priority pathway'. Three visits from senior health professionals from Sirona came to the house on different days to assess his needs and inform us of his care package and progress. They made sure that 'just in time' medication for injection had been delivered (It had) , and that the paperwork to ensure regular notes could be made on aspects of his progress was in place. At the last visit we were asked would we like a Nurse to call at a particular time/day; and we indicated a first day and time. No-one came. No one came the following day, nor the day after that (all after fruitless phone calls with a would-be-helpful and obviously concerned receptionist). There is no actual nursing in place. No phone calls were made to us to explain the position. Four days later a phone call from Sirona coincided with our (private) carer attending to the patient. We were told a call back would happen 'within the hour'. It did not. The next day(Sunday) a DN came without notice, but left immediately because I was sick with a gut infection. We are now three weeks on since we were assured of NHS support at this difficult time: nothing has happened although everything is in place for it to be actioned. The only way to contact this team is to shortcut or cheat the phone menus- and even then wait times of more than 30 minutes have been occurring. We are at our wits end.
