The service is nice for the most part, except I had to cancel my dog’s stay due to circumstances beyond my control. Barnewood refused to work with me regarding the sizable deposit I placed for the kennel. I was not even asking for a refund, and I asked almost a week in advance to alter my stay. The receptionist simply repeated that “the deposit was non-refundable and non transferable.” In my opinion this is a bit of a draconian business practice, and I would recommend caution before using Barnewood’s services. We all know plans can change unexpectedly, but this company offers no clemency for such events.
