I cannot recommend them enough! Attempting to sell the house had been frustratingly difficult and traumatic before coming to Barnett Ross. By the time we had decided to sell via auction, we had multiple quotes from several firms and it was Steven Grossman’s warmth and professionalism that won us over, and we don’t regret it a single bit. He has picked up the phone and responded to emails without fail and no matter how silly, and that goes very very far when dealing with such a life-changing transaction. Our sale completed today and we feel like we made the right choice. Selling via auction is easy and seamless with the right firm.

Im an experienced property auction goer but I was disturbed by the actions of Barnett Ross in one of their recent 2019 auctions. They were instructed to sell a freehold investment where there were elderly leaseholders in occupation but with only a short lease remaining. They misled the leaseholders into granting them access on 'insurance valuation' grounds only to then enter the property into their own property auction shortly thereafter. I appreciate they are acting for the vendor but there are ways of conducting yourself in business ....

Have dealt with them on a couple of occasions but the recent one was beyond belief. These auctioneers think they can squeeze money out of unsuspecting clients/customers for their own benefit. In our case we believe the client who was selling the property was also greedy and agreed to sell at a higher price although he was aware that deposit monies had already been sent by us. The auctioneers have a "get out" clause and for them it's a "win win" situation but theirs actions were unprofessional. We now believe that the property may have issues but these auctioneers turn a blind eye to such issues as they know from experience that there will be some gullible buyer out there willing to pay silly money. Moral of the story not to deal with unprofessional auctioneers like the ones I did.
