The showers and toilets are absolutely disgusting, the water doesn’t drain properly so the whole block is like a swimming pool, none of the 3 doors to the showers lock, the cubicles are tiny and there is no ventilation. I’ve read a few replies to reviews that said it’s a temporary thing but in my opinion that’s not a good enough excuse, should still have suitable facilities, this put me off trying the food from the canteen as if they’re willing to let things get that dirty it didn’t give me much faith for any other facilities on site. Real shame as I’d been recommended here by a few different people so had high hopes, don’t think I’ll be returning unless there is no other options.

I used the truck wash there in preparation for Truckfest at Peterborough. They looked to be using snow foam contactless cleaner so so I thought. When they finished they said no need to use the clean water jets just drive on out. Got back to our yard to find two months of metal polishing destroyed by their chemical snow foam lookalike. Seriously unimpressed. Will definitely not use nor recommend this particular service to any other people. I have on occasion parked there overnight and had no problems. Food was good and toilets and showers likewise.

Pretty much most of the parking at this truck stop has been contracted out to other haulage companies. Don’t even attempt after 6pm as you’ll just be turned away, can’t rate the facilities however as I’ve never , despite numerous attempts, got past the lorry park full sign. It’s a shame as some of the old boys used to rate this place.

You have foreign drivers cooking their own food using large gas containers with the burners on top which are one 1 dangerous and 2 illegal, they spend nothing in the shop they spend nothing in the canteen, They park their units in places meant for a truck and trailer but if they were all to park together It would create a lot more space and more revenue
