To the arrogant train officer who sadistically told us we had 1 minute to run all the way back up the stairs and get the train from the other platform(including disabled people who missed the hourly train) , I truly hope you enjoyed working in the 40oc heat the last 2 days :)

Barnes is a nice station with potential but travelling from here to Kingston today wasen't good. Platform 4 which is the other side of the station doesn't have a ticket machine, I would of got the train I was going to get if it did. The train I was getting had departed earlier than was on the screen which ik can happen so I ensure to go slightly earlier and I missed it because I had to go to a different platform to buy a ticket. The next train to Kingston was on a different platform which meant I had to move again, it's not ideal when travelling. All stations, and I've been to a lot, have a ticket machine either side of the entrance of the station which makes sense. The station could do with an upgrade.

Not wonderful... They change the platforms of the trains very often... Which means running around, and up and down several flights of stairs... Sometimes at short notice. Disabled access, not available. Needs a 21st century upgrade.

Cute small station but very bad passengers information system. Often wrong platform displayed and passengers have to run from one platform to another one at the last minute. Very very annoying.

Nice station . Not too busy. However they need to put in another exit to the opposite end of the platform. One has to walk all along the platform on the other side of the fence to get to the single station entry. Extremely frustrating when a train is pulling in and you miss it.
