Myself and the wife stayed in Sabinehay Barn and it was superb. The standard of finish is top notch. The views are beautiful, the camp site seemed really nice, the staff were really friendly, and it was nice to have a hot tub to sit in after a nice long walk. 2 good pubs 10 minutes walk away. Will definitely be back

I would have given the "rooms" represting pitches 5 stars. However, it was very, very packed. There was no space on the second day, and it felt extremely crammed. Other than that, the facility is very clean, good food assortment choices, albeit the pizza place which took out pizza order at 6pm and gave it to us at 9.45pm. There were lots of bins and were always emptied. Staff continuously cleaning bathrooms and shower cubicles and stocking with proper toilet paper, and not that cheap 400 grit sandpaper you would find in most locations. (Looking at you Nottingham council). Security were very present and doing patrols to keep some little brats from getting up to no good (iE climbing trees at 1am right behind our tent. Minus some little girls named Rosey screaming at the top of her lungs like she was bathing in a holy bath of fire at 3am, it was a great experience and felt very security. Lots of entertainment over the long weekend with live bands and other artists over 2 nights. Lots for kids to do as well and very close to bakewell etc for trips out. Would highly recommend.

We have stayed at Barn Farm campsite, Birchover, Derbyshire, several times over the years. This time we stayed 3 nights in our Campervan. The site is very well run and is always very clean and tidy. The surrounding country side is amazing and there are numerous walks from the campsite. Information on these walks and places to eat including 2 pubs in the village, is easily found at reception. The local "wild" life is unique and best of all No traffic noise. Best time to go probably during the week. Week ends can be busy but not overpowering. Check it out!
