This 5 stars is based purely on the help and support my son has been given since starting in year 7. He has ADHD and finds things extremely hard at times. I won't say I've always agreed with the punishments given like full days sat in a booth and then a 2 hour detention. But the help we have been given by his Year head and other teachers have been amazing. Some teachers are so understanding with the needs of children who struggle. I have constant contact with the school either by phone, emails, class charts or face to face. My son has a new excitement for going to school now the head teacher has changed which makes morning so much easier. The school decor is a mess in a lot of places but for me support for my son is higher up the importance table. I'm looking forward to what his remaining 2.5 years will bring.
