Delightful lunch spent in delightful company in a beautiful peaceful historic inn. Service was excellent, and the menu caters well for meat eaters . There were a couple of vegetarian options, but the restaurant was also happy to offer vegan choices (not on the menu but phoned in advance to check). I will definitely return. One star deducted because it was a tad expensive for lunch; the otherwise excellent pan fried cod was £24 but did not include any potatoes - but fries/ chips were available as an optional additional side. Recommended for a special treat.
