They were not busy but I stood in the shop, for over five minutes and no one ask what fish I wanted frying, then I watched them dish another customers order into a slim cardboard box and then with hand on top crush the contents down at least an inch, to close the box. It was at this point I left, a lucky escape, having now read some of the reviews.

While visiting the Richmond castle we got hungry and while walking out at the castle we saw this establishment. When we went in we thought it was a take out place, but we found out that they had tables on the second floor that had air conditioning. I ordered the regular order of fish and chips and was really happy with it. On top of that you got free desert with your meal. But be careful, if you park in the parking spaces in the town square make sure you purchase a disc. I did not know that and got a 25 pound parking ticket. :(

Asked for two small fish n chips and told they had run out so we got one large to share, chips were ok but the fish tastes oily and was very very dry, used this chippy for years but won’t be rushing back sadly, felt a bit sick after them

The food we got was OK but we were missing items. Pie, peas, chips and gravy was missing the peas and gravy. I asked for three portions of chips and got one. I should have checked it before we walked out but that would have involved emptying the bag and opening every box.

Had excellent fish and Mushy peas. Both tasted really good and was delicious, and a very good price, was expecting it to be more expensive Wheelchair accessibility: 2 entrances, one ar Street level which a family with pushchair used. Other entrance had a couple of steps.
