    Paid £80 for a pair of curtains, water damaged when opened. Eventually got them swapped, guess what, also damaged. Obviously selling seconds as new. Poor customer service, save your money DON'T buy here.

    KNOW YOUR RIGHTS: I purchased a pair of curtains on Wednesday 8th December. Twice I told the lady that I needed Blackout Curtains as I lived across the road from a Care Home and had issues with their security and car lights. The lady rummaged at the back of the display and came up with a pair of curtains. They didn’t even block out the weak winter light when I got them home; they were a totally inferior product. They cannot supply me with what I asked for as they never had them in stock in the first place, so the credit note offered is a waste of space (by the way, the notice was at the back of the shop wedged between two curtains; it was not even at the till). This apparently is my fault: so take note: BEFORE YOU PAY IN-STORE: check their returns policy and MOST IMPORTANT BEFORE YOU PAY IN-STORE ask them to open the packet etc. and ensure the quality or quantity is what you are expecting, or buy online at least you have some redress through the bank. This company now have my money and won’t return it, and they have nothing in-store that I want or need.
