How does your company ensure that cultural landmarks are respected and preserved for future generations?

Preserving cultural landmarks is a top priority for our company. We work closely with local heritage organizations and historical societies to ensure that these landmarks are protected and maintained for future generations to enjoy. We also take great care to minimize our impact on these sites during any construction or maintenance work.

We also collaborate with local schools and community groups to provide educational programs and events.

Can you provide examples of successful projects or initiatives that your company has carried out in the past?

One example of a successful project we carried out in the past was a community art installation on our pier. We worked with a local artist to create a series of murals and sculptures that celebrated the history and culture of our town. The installation was a huge success and brought many new visitors to our pier. Another successful initiative we carried out was a sustainability program that focused on reducing waste and promoting eco-friendly practices on our pier.

Are there any restrictions on the type of fishing gear or bait allowed on the pier?

Yes, we have some restrictions on the type of fishing gear and bait that are allowed on our pier. For example, we do not allow any type of net fishing, and we require all anglers to use barbless hooks to minimize harm to fish. We also have restrictions on the use of certain types of bait that may be harmful to marine life. We take these restrictions seriously to ensure that our pier remains a sustainable and responsible fishing destination.

Has the dubious distinction of being the spot where Britain's first Atomic Bomb (Hurricane) was shipped off to Australia. If tempted to go over the seawall the beach is owned by the MOD as in the past several nasty pieces of unexploded ammunition have been found. The winter tides always seem to expose a few more.

Historic pier jutting out into the Thames Estuary where artillery was unloaded for Shoebury Garrison. No public access onto the pier but 84 hectares of coastal park to wander through.
