The Six Sewn Bindings workshop was a fabulous experience. I learnt so many skills in just a day and Tamsin was a super teacher, taking us clearly through the steps. Bit on top of that, it was a fun, calming and wholesome experience. So many new ideas! Definitely hooked now!

Fantastic Workshop. We produced 6 small sewn binded books. Tamsin’s pace and delivery of the workshop was spot on. The venue was lovely, an intimate workshop space above the fantastic Fisherton Mill. I had lunch via the cafe which was delivered to the workspace and we recieved a discount for dining (or u can bring a packed lunch). Fisherton Mill was easy to find and a very short walking distance from the train station.

Wonderful workshop with good detailed instructions. The group size was the perfect number, having enough time for everyone to get the attention they needed, but a good wholesome atmosphere created by the group.

Thoroughly enjoyed the Japanese Stab Binding workshop. For someone with no 'craft or needle work' experience it was ideal. Steady pace, with lots of helpful advice and direction. Well done Tamsin.

Had a really lovely day doing the Japanese stab binding workshop with Tamsin. Everyone was really friendly and we got to make lots of little notebooks to practice the techniques and our final recipe book to take home. Fisherton Mill is a great place to wonder around and browse all of the lovely products. Thank you

Thank you so much for a great day in your lovely studio at Fisherton Mill. Despite finding the process rather difficult (which was down to me, not you) I very much enjoyed myself. Tamsin is an encouraging supportive instructor and I learned a great deal from her. I found working together on our individual projects to be a good way of learning, and infinitely better than faffing around on my own at home. I am a complete novice at linocut and this was a good way of cramming in a lot of work and shared experience without feeling the slightest bit rushed. I felt cream crackered that evening, but in a good way! I was most impressed with how Tamsin made us all welcome, with everything we needed laid out conveniently and with flair. Tamsin's studio, and Fisherton Mill, is a very pleasant place to be. Recommended.

We enjoyed the workshop and were delighted with our first attempts at lino printing. Tamsin was very calm and encouraging, a perfect teacher for people lacking confidence. Others in the group were more experienced than us and she took time to answer their questions, and ensure they learnt new things. The day went very quickly and we plan to return and develop our skills some more.

The linocut workshop was very well planned & organised in the lovely studio space at Fisherton Mill and Tamsin was great at teasing out each participant’s hopes and expectations… and keeping them achievable! It was friendly & informative and struck the right balance between fun, learning and serious endeavour. It was good value too; I had a great time and was really happy with what I achieved. Thank you Tamsin!

Tamsin is such a generous and patient teacher. Following her lead, we made our own books and she gave us valuable insights into creative journalling. The process has added a whole extra layer to how I will be working towards my future visual art output as well as a strategy for looking inwards! Many thanks Tamsin, Viv B
