No mention of being closed to a private event, wasted 2 hours of the limited time we had in london to get here. Wouldnt recommend. Conservatory in itself from outside looked incredible. Shame

Lush treasure trove in the city center. I enjoyed this space very much—it was like escaping into a tropical paradise. So many beautiful plants to see. The staff here are also quite friendly. I’d love to return to the Barbican center to see a play or future exhibits but highly recommend the conservatory for a visit!

This had been on our radar for a while and we really enjoyed it when we finally got a chance to visit. Was surprising to see a lot of plants we recognised from back home (Australia), so a cool spot if you're looking for things you wouldn't normally see around London. There's a bar in there that we didn't know about in advance, great spot for a quiet beer. There are turtles and koi, just to add a bit of fauna to the mix.

Huge (2nd biggest in London ) conservatory in the heart of the Barbican with an extensive display of plants from minute to huge. All in the setting of a multi level glazed space and the concrete architecture of the centre. Restrooms: Toilets inside the Conservatory Picnic area: Small bar for soft and alcoholic drinks inside the Conservatory

It’s cool but no flowers.. and many plants looked half dead. It’s such a good idea to do this but it’s pretty underwhelming in person. There’s no atmosphere. We left within 15 mins.

2 floors of plants and koi. Very peaceful. You can turn up on the day but it's 1 in 1 out, having a ticket guarantees you're in and they are free! Tiny bar on the lower floor serving cider, g+t, prosecco and some soft drinks at the sort of prices you'd expect for a London venue. Lots to do inside the actual Barbican itself if you venture to floor G or 1. Eateries, cinema, shop, outdoor garden. Deffo worth a look. Has a handy bag check on quite a few floors with a £2 suggested donation.
