Had drinks while waiting for train home, staff were friendly my only complaint is service charge of just under £5 for bringing 4 drinks to the table. Tips should be at the discretion of the customer not added by the business to collect more money

A “stylish” Turkish restaurant near Liverpool St station with a nice atmosphere and clean toilets. This is where the positives end. Being a Turk I think I’m fairly qualified to know good Turkish food from bad, and I can say it’s average at Baraka. The staff are polite but service is especially slow even though the restaurant was not very busy. We eventually became frustrated after waiting 20mins for someone to ask if we wanted dessert after receiving the menu. We ended up asking for the bill. Staff were quite chatty with each other and select tables. I would advise the the owners to focus on service and try offering some bread and hummus like other Turkish restaurants to customers. It a small gesture that goes a long way. Please also add Turkish tea to the menu.
