I suppose a review on pet euthanasia is an unusual topic, but I feel the need to express our gratitude to Laura for making the experience as painless as possible for our family. Our Westiepoo Ollie, 15 years old and suffering from diabetes and blindness had the best send off, happy at home with his family. I cannot thank Laura enough for her kindness and compassion during the difficult time of putting our beloved dog, Bobbie, to sleep. She made the entire process peaceful and comfortable for him, allowing him to pass away in the familiar surroundings of his own home and bed. Laura's use of a sedative first ensured that Bobbie fell into a deep, painless sleep before administering the final injection. Watching him pass away so peacefully brought a sense of comfort and closure during this difficult time. Laura gave us the time and space to say goodbye to Bobbie at our own pace. She was attentive to our emotions and was incredibly supportive throughout the entire process. I would highly recommend Laura, her expertise and compassion made all the difference in this difficult moment.

When my lovely, 16 year old cat stopped eating and drinking we knew it was time to say goodbye. We contacted Laura who was kind and compassionate about the decision we were making. Laura understood how nervous our cat was and so she was quiet and gentle as she sedated her. I can’t say enough good things about Laura’s service and in a terribly sad situation she helped us give peace to our old friend.

Laura is a fabulous lady, she made what was a terrible heartbreaking time for us a lot easier to cope with. Alfie passed away on his favourite chair in his favourite room with us, his mum and dad stroking and cuddling him. Nothing was rushed and I know my boy wasn’t afraid or stressed in any way. Our hearts are broken but I know we did the best for him at the end and that gives us comfort. Thank you Laura.

We put our sweet girl to rest this morning after a short battle with a tumour. We made her a promise she would never suffer and made the agonising decision to put her to sleep, although she still seemed full of life. She was sedated first and fell asleep in her bed while eating peanut butter from my hand. She drifted off into a deep, deep sleep, snoring away when Laura cannulated her with the drug to put her to sleep. It was so dignified and peaceful and that gives me comfort even though I feel so empty right now.

I unfortunately had to make the very difficult decision to let my dog go after a difficult fight with some open wounds and cancer. I’d previously seen a notice in the vets about Rainbow Bridge Vet, and knowing how much my girl hated going to the vets and how anxious and stressed she felt, I knew I would prefer her in the comfort of her own home at the end. I left a message on the website and Laura got in contact the same day to talk through our situation with Theia. Instantly I felt so comfortable talking to her and she explained everything clearly and was understanding. Laura was able to come over the next day and kept in contact to let us know she was on the way. When she arrived I felt at ease instantly she was so kind and conscientious and though Theia was a little grumpy to start, she calmed down almost immediately after Laura talked to her. She made sure once again we understood what was going to happen and that we were ready through every step of the process. Even when we were a little worried about how much chicken she managed to inhale during the beginning. I can’t even put into words how pleased I am with the service Laura provided and would honestly recommend it to anyone who is in the difficult position that we all face at the end of a pets life. It was so calm, dignified and considerate and truly what Theia deserved after being such a good girl for so long. On a day that was one of the most difficult I’ve had, Laura made it so much easier. Thank you so much.
