The staff were more interested in chasing each other round the restaurant flirting with each other than to bring us our food menus once we had already been seated for about 15 minutes. Once we finally ordered it got even worse, one main course arrived 45 mins before the other, with starters turning randomly in between (even after specifying that we wanted starters, then mains). Staff were extremely unhelpful, rude and answered back when we expressed we were unhappy with the meals and service. The food we did end up eating was average. Management should probably employ someone over the age of 19 who actually knows what they’re doing.

I called in on an evening during the week, spoke to a member of the team behind the bar and they directed me to a table and explained how the ordering process worked. The QR code system worked well, and my drink arrived to my table quickly. There was a bit of a delay on my food arriving to the table, but when I spoke to one of the staff to ask about it, the food arrived while I was talking to her, and she was very genuinely apologetic for the wait (sorry for not catching her name!). Once the food arrived, it was thoroughly delicious, and I'll be back again in the future for sure.

Visited very early Mon afternoon, had a nice glass of wine with two really tasty starters. Both myself and my husband thought the food was good, service was excellent. Would definitely go back if we return to Edinburgh
