  We came to Amanda for help with our little wire haired dachshund Puck, who was nervous of other dogs and just generally very anxious. Amanda helped us identify the potential causes for her behaviour and gave us lots of tips and practical guidance on how to help her relax and be more comfortable and confident with other dogs. We’ve seen SUCH an improvement and the support throughout from Amanda has been great. We need to keep going and building on the lessons we’ve learnt but couldn’t be happier with the service (and Puck loved every session too!). Will definitely be recommending to anyone in need! Thanks again Amanda! 😊

  When we first met Claire, it was estimated we would need 12 sessions. Turns out all done after 6. Claire was amazing, not just with Norman but with my Husband and I. Norman is a Miniature Poodle who is so excitable, would not walk properly, had no recall, respurce guarding was terrible, he would pinch socks, teatowels, tv control and would not do any commands. It was at this point we needed help. Claire came to our rescue, within 6 weeks, Norman is a completely different dog all thanks to Claire. My Husband and I cant thank you enough.

  I’ve been working with Amanda for a couple of months to help address some reactivity issues with my 2-year old corgi, Stanley. She’s been a great help and has explained a great deal about how Stanley is acting in the various situations we have been having issues with, and we have put into place very effective strategies to help him. Would definitely recommend her services!

  We had to leave a 5* review as our experience with Claire changed our lives and that of our Cane Corso puppy, Bella. We booked Claire after I saw one of her other clients training her dog in the park. She was singing her praises, and after enquiring ourselves, we decided to book a meeting with Claire for Bella, who was only 4 months old at the time. Surprisingly, before our first meet, 3 other people also recommended Claire to us when we enquiried about trainers! We had an initial WhatsApp video consultation and was impressed with Claire's approach. She was friendly, open, honest, and listened to our concerns. We didn't hesitate to book the puppy package, and 9 weeks later, I can honestly say she's changed our lives. We are constantly praised on how well-behaved Bella is when we're out in public, in the park, off or on the lead, and in pubs/bars. In fact, I've had to pass on her details on x 2 separate occasions. Whilst Bella's breed has a good temperament anyway, with the added training and tips given to us by Claire, we have successfully fine-tuned the concerns we had. Bella isn't perfect, but whose dog is?! But for a puppy, that's a large breed, she's more well behaved and obedient than most dogs we meet. Not only was Claire's training an eye opener to some of the things we'd been doing wrong, but we learnt that it's a work in progress, and despite completing the course, we are continuing to do the training ourselves and have remained in touch with Claire, as she is genuinely interested in how Bella is doing. We highly recommend Claire to anyone interested in training their puppies/dogs. She is a lovely, friendly, and approachable person and just what you'd want in a trainer. It was a pleasure having Claire, and Bella always got excited when she was around. Her tips have been invaluable to us, and we will not hesitate to book her again if the need arises in the future. We also want to thank all at Our Love For Dogs for the training videos and tips Claire shared with us throughout our puppy package.

  We have just completed 9 weekly sessions with Claire who has given us some excellent advice and support with our very excitable Welsh Springer Spaniel, Fergus. It was almost impossible to have visitors in our home as Fergus would bark incessantly, jump up and completely overwhelm them. This behaviour could continue for as long as an hour. He is nearly 5 years old so the behaviour had become quite entrenched. We are now in a much better position. Claire has given us the skills to calm him and helped me to remain calm but in control. She is friendly and professional. She was available via WhatsApp and kept in touch with us between visits. I chose this company because of the positive reviews and I can only add our own to encourage others to do the same.

  We started working with Claire in January as we needed help training our puppy. She has been great and our dog loves her (and all the treats she knows she gets during the sessions). We covered all the basics and then focused on particular behaviours we wanted to work on. She has equipped us with the skills to deal with our dog's separation anxiety and we have done a lot of work to help with pulling when on the lead. Our dog, who is now 8 months old has come on so much.

  Amanda has helped our cocker spaniel Rupert enormously! Like many spaniels, he struggled to walk on the lead as he was very nose driven. In addition to this, we sought help with his recall around other dogs. Amanda gave us all the tools we needed (games, tips and advice) to ensure our dog was responsive to us. A fantastic trainer who is so knowledgeable about dog behaviour, she has not only helped Rupert but has also given me buckets of confidence. I cannot recommend Our love for dogs enough.

  I can’t thank Simon enough for the training and support he has given us with our two pugs , we worked on training tips in the home with stimulating games to help engagement , loose lead walking , off lead walking , been to different environment. Both my dogs were reactive around other dogs, we can now have enjoyable off lead walks, Simon has taught us positive ways to keep my dogs engaged whilst walking past other dogs , recall has massively improved. I had a major issue with my dogs fighting in the home, we now have had zero fights I am able to identify triggers and get my dogs attention to avoid fights if needed. This has made things so much more calmer and safe in the home, prior to Simons training I hadn't the confidence to let my dogs off lead around lakes water etc they can now walk off lead along lakes and canals. Our training is now completed and fantastic after care is offered also lots of new fun training tips and games to help maintain the training , so can’t thank Simon and our love for dogs enough , also a big shout out to Belle , Simons assistant dog who has been a fantastic roll model working alongside my two dogs on walks. All work was force free positive training which has worked wonders with my dogs they have responded really well with the training .Simon also helped with any questions I had along the way he made me feel at ease to be able to ask for any advise or help , One very happy customer .   I am so pleased with the results achieved after working with Claire and our ten month old puppy Lola. Her obedience, recall, walking on lead and travelling in the car have all improved. Claire has been brilliant, always supportive and available to give advice or answer questions if needed. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to start a training programme with their dog.
