One of the team members (a tool man in the suite) was very rude to me. I have needed a charger, found a spot to finish a very important conversation I had and I was about to order, but he did not listen to me, approached me aggressively and literally kicked me out, came very close and was following me until the entrance. I didn’t look like a homeless person, just normally, and I felt discriminated 😔 very- very disappointed

I used to come here under different ownership. Unfortunately, St. Swithins Lane had been a perpetual construction site for many years, followed, and then the restaurants were severely hit by the pandemic. However, I was pleased to see that this bar, which is so closely associated with Porto and Sandeman's Port, has reopened under a different name. I am fascinated by the history of Port and St. Swithin's Lane holds so much of it. This is also the Street where my parents first met in the 1960's. Now, to the bar. I enjoyed the two course menu at £22. This is not the cheapest of places but the quality is outstanding. The spiced tomato soup starter was one of the best that I have ever tasted. The mains were of equal high quality and admirably served by Alban and Daniela, both of whom were perfect hosts. The bar is well stocked with Portuguese wines and beers, and the ambience is great. This venue is well a visit if you find yourself in the confines of the City of London.

The environment is to bright for evening. Sevice was very good and attentive from beginning to the end. Would be nice to see more influence by Portugal history.

The restaurant pretends to have a Portuguese menu, but it clearly fails to deliver. The "alheira" was a UK sausage, white port tonic was underwhelming, the pastel the nata was soggy.
