Just back from a week on "Claudette", their smallest cruiser and covered the allowable cruising area from about 1.5km from the Barmouth past Coleraine, to Toome. The lockkeepers were very helpful and the good weather conditions helped as well. There were some SUP's, Kayaks and water skiers out, but otherwise very little traffic on the river and it was an extremely rare occasion that there was another boat at the same jetty. Great walks through the woods, too, including a jetty near Mountsandel Kevin & James were both very helpful, including booking a meal and organising Joe Joe's taxi at the Taphouse in Bellaghy. From the booking, right through to planning our arrival and any questions and details- everything was superb. Great customer service, which meant our expectations were high. And they were met! The staff are absolutely fantastic, the training was fun, informative and really put everyone at ease. Not a single complaint. The boats themselves are absolutely class! We hired all 3. The 2 bed had WC in both rooms, lovely livign area and plenty of outdoor seatign bits. Only wish the weather was warmer so e could go swimming off the back. In the 3 bed boat I had the 'master bedroom' which has a king-size bed, great matrass- feels like your sleeping on land. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need, all the Delph and glassware and utensils, tea coffee sugar ect. Full size fridge and a small freezer for ice and drinks. Cleaning products also on board, a radiator and dustpan and brush and small hoover. There is just areal attention to detail and made it feel very luxury. The boat also comes with a speaker- which meant we could blast our tunes while sailing along the ban and have a dance out on the deck- absolutely brilliant! Big table in the 3 bed boat- we had 10 people round it for meals. All in all this is a faultless adventure which is right on our doorstep. We have already made plans to book for longer next time- the best fun you could have as a family, group of friends or couple. Highly recommend and it actually works out as less than a hotel stay and you have A BALL!!!

We had a brilliant and memorable weekend with Bann River cruises. Really helpful , flexible and friendly staff, great tuition and support. Very highly recommended. We hired the smaller boat and it was really easy to handle and surprisingly spacious. Brilliant facilities at Portglenone Marina. We will definitely hire again. Thanks Kevin and James.

Just back from two very enjoyable nights on a Bann River Cruises boat. The Bann is very scenic, very quiet, and the boats are clean, in very good condition and easy to sail. There are some very good spots to eat in at night like The Wild Duck Inn in Portglenone and Manor Hotel in KIlrea. Both are good and within waking distance from the mooring. The team at Bann River Cruises do a detailed handover of the vessel so that even people with no boating experience feel comfortable handling it. Traffic on the river is very light so no pressure. Would use again - recommended!
