Annoying that this car park doesn't take cards, as although you can pay on an app, there is no phone signal, so lots of visitors were struggling. Shame because this beach is absolutely stunning.

Runswick Bay one of the prettiest little harbours you can visit. Access down a steep hill to a decent size carpark with the usual parking charges. Lovely sandy beach and a nice cafe sit inside or out. Simple choices prepacked sandwiches ,sausage rolls, takeaway coffee or tea . A most beautiful location .

As per other reviews the ticket machine was not working for card payments, and my phone had insufficient signal for the RingGo app. Therefore cash only (which in this instance I didn’t have the correct change so just left and went on to visit another place).
